Highly accomplished saxophonist and leading Australian jazz educator, David Theak (Sydney) will join WAYJO's MinterEllison Monday Night Orchestra to present the all-time swingin' classics from Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Frank Sinatra and more.

David Theak is a driving force in Australian jazz education and big band advocacy. A highly accomplished saxophonist and international touring artist, David also heads the jazz department of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and runs the Australian National Jazz Orchestra.

David will join the MinterEllison Monday Night Orchestra playing the all-time swingin' classics from Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Frank Sinatra paying tribute to the great tenor saxophonists of that era... He may even sing a song or two! Despite the lyrics of that classic jazz standard, he does get around and we are happy to have him here in Perth.
