Giuseppe Infantino is a remarkable young Italian tenor making his mark on the world stage.
He was recently awarded a special prize as “Best Tenor” by the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation at the Marcello Giordani International Singing Competition. He has sung in some major opera houses around Europe including a recent performance at the Arena de Verona alongside Placido Domingo and José Carreras.
He will be joined in a celebration of Italian Opera highlights by Australian opera star Rachelle Durkin, a resident soprano at New York’s Metropolitan Opera for 20 years, as well as rising star singers.
This concert will feature the OpusWA Arts Orchestra with conductor Mark Coughlan.
Government House Foundation in association with the Consulate of Italy (WA) present Opera Gala – A Night at La Scala supported by West Australian Opera.
