Building on the success of the past two series, we are delighted to present once again one of the most popular and brilliant works of the piano concerto repertoire played by one of the leading pianists of the next generation.

This year, in an all-Tchaikovsky program, we present his grand and brilliant First Piano Concerto played by New York-based pianist Wynona Wang. Wynona was a prize winner of the recent Sydney International Piano Competition as well as the Gina Bachauer competition in the US. She is a graduate of the Julliard School in New York and plays concerts throughout the US as well as in China and Australia.

The first half of the concert will feature Tchaikovsky’s breathtaking 6th Symphony performed by the OpusWA Arts Orchestra conducted by Mark Coughlan.
