OUR PLACE: RAIN OR SHINE by Jenny Davis is an epic community story told through theatre, film, and memory.

A creative, multicultural and intergenerational project built from over 150 oral history interviews about personal connection and individual responses to place.

Bridging time, culture and generations, local Albany community members share stories, insights and experiences about their connection to the landscape and special places that feature in the history of Albany and surrounds.

Combining stunning visual backdrops and an evocative soundscape, professional actors are joined on stage by Albany community members in a bold and heartfelt celebration of Albany’s identity — past, present and imagined.
