Presented by Albany Entertainment Centre
Experience stunning contemporary dancers as they expressively respond to the wonderous landscapes, forests and seascapes of the Great Southern, having been captured on video, visually interpreted by John Carberry and then projected upon the interior architectural walls of the Albany Entertainment Centre.
John Carberry is renowned for collaborating with dancers to make poignant, multilayered dance films that speak to the moment, ground us with a sense of place and inspire us with their quiet beauty.
The dance films to be screened were made for film festivals and art exhibitions featuring contemporary dance, most notably Ameliorer Fragments 1 - 3, which received Official Selection to the Revelation International Film Festival in 2019.
Showcasing the natural beauty of the Southern Coastlines and capturing the performances by professional dancers Chloe de Buyl, Talitha Maslin and Jessica Ruggera, this is an experience not to be missed.
