This progressive reimagining brings Maleficent into the classic story, not just as an external force, but as a mirror to internal conflicts. It challenges the traditional portrayal of good versus evil, exploring both destructive and regenerative forces, provoking the characters and audience to confront the shadows within.
Essence moves beyond tradition, where movement transcends form and focuses on intent. A gesture expresses longing, a sequence symbolises change, and stillness holds power.
