King Street Arts Centre façade is being restored to its original state.
Heritage restoration works will begin in January 2024 and are scheduled for completion mid next year.
The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries is leading the project and has contracted local heritage restoration specialists CLPM to undertake the work.
Limited bookings will be available for the next six months while the project is being completed.

Munster House having been originally built in the early 1900s was extensively refurbished in the late 1990s to establish what is now known as the King Street Arts Centre. Managed by The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Kings Street Arts Centre is a home for arts and cultural organisations representing a blend of your, regional, community and professional arts activity and practice.

Small Meeting Room 

 Capacity for 10 – 16 people. This room is 8.2 x 4.2 meters in size and includes 2 tables, 15 chairs, air-conditioning and portable whiteboard.

Large Meeting Room is closed during the building works

 Capacity for 80 people. This room is 11.5 x 8.5 meters in size and includes 5 tables, 52 chairs, air-conditioning and track lighting.

Studio One is closed during the building works.

                                                             

                

14 x 11 metres in size, air-conditioning and heating, 1 floor fan, 4 portable mirrors and track lighting with the capacity to suit 25–30 dancers. Our surround sound system is plug and play if you are using your phone please bring a headphone jack with you. No stilettos are permitted in this studio at any time. Chunky heels, Latin and Salsa dancing shoes are fine. 

Studio Two

                                                                 

              

14 x 11 metres in size, an upright piano, 1 floor fan, air-conditioning and heating with the capacity to suit 25–30 dancers. Our surround sound system is plug and play if you are using your phone please bring a headphone jack with you. The only foot wear permitted in this Studio is Ballet shoes, bare feet or yoga sox no Sneakers either please.

                                   Studio Three                                  

      

14 x 14 metres in size, air-conditioning and heating, 1 floor fan, 4 portable mirrors, 2 speakers, 6 benches, track lighting with the capacity to suit 25–30 dancers. Our surround sound system is plug and play if you are using your phone please bring a headphone jack with you. No stilettos are permitted in this studio at any time. Chunky heels, Latin and Salsa dancing shoes are fine.
