Presented by Australian Conservation Foundation

Listen to an unfiltered conversation with Konrad Benjamin (Punter's Politics), Roxanne Moore, executive director of the Foundation for Young Australians, and Adam Bandt, new CEO of the Australian Conservation Foundation about climate chaos, media madness and how not to lose the plot with things you didn't break.

The climate crisis feels like a group assignment where the people in charge didn't show up - and young Aussies got stuck doing the work. Again.

Konrad, Roxanne, and Adam will bring the honest, deeply hopeful conversation about the planet's future that nobody in charge is having. And ours. Hosted by Lucy Peach, West Australian folk artist and science communicator.

We'll talk:

  • Climate chaos, corporate cowardice and youth burnout.
  • Why it's not on you to single-handedly save the world, and how collective power - not being "better consumers" - is how we get out of this mess.
  • Leveraging culture, media, voting, organising and online influence to pressure the people who actually have their fingers on the climate levers.

Expect laughs, rage, hope and a plan. Come for the existential dread. Stay for the stubborn optimism.

Please note:
  • Latecomers will not be admitted until a suitable break during the performance.
