Djinda Kaatijin (To Learn about the Stars) is an engaging theatre performance celebrating Noongar culture, storytelling and connection to Country.
Created especially for young audiences, the show explores the significance of the stars in storytelling, imagination and creativity. Through song, movement and story, students are encouraged to pause, look up and reflect on the stars, their stories and our shared history.
Djinda Kaatijin (To Learn about the Stars) is an immersive theatre experience created for young audiences that celebrates Noongar culture, language and storytelling. The performance explores the significance of the stars in Aboriginal knowledge systems and reminds us to pause, look up, and reflect on the stories held within the night sky.
Through music, movement and narrative, students are invited to explore themes of imagination, creativity, identity and connection to Country in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate and culturally grounded. The production encourages young audiences to consider how the stars connect us to history, story and each other.
