The concert opens with Mozart’s Overture from The Marriage of Figaro before Liz Chee, WASO’s Section Principal Oboe, takes centre stage for the world premiere of Lachlan Skipworth’s Oboe Concerto. We conclude with Stravinsky’s dazzling Firebird Suite, a masterpiece that will transport you to a magical world of fantasy and folklore.
