In the heat of Seville, she captivates everyone she encounters. When she sets her sights on the soldier Don José, a dangerous chain of events is set in motion.

Don José's infatuation soon spirals into obsession, as he is torn between passion and duty; between Carmen's irresistible allure and Micaëla's unwavering devotion. When the celebrated toreador Escamillo captures Carmen's heart, fate takes a devastating turn.

Filled with unforgettable melodies, fiery dance rhythms and some of opera's most iconic music, Carmen remains one of the most exhilarating works ever written.
